On Wednesday March 10, 2010 the Compagnie Sucrière du Tchad launched the bases of its association, which will be named Fondation CST.

Indeed the constituent General Meeting of this organization dedicated to managing and developing joint and social actions in favor of populations living near its company sites is taking place in CST premises in Banda.

It is the first organization of its kind within the SOMDIAA Group. Cameroon, Congo and Gabon will follow suit.

Besides the implementation and facilitation of those associations will be assigned to someone specifically hired for the task.

Those associations will help manage the direct support brought by each business to populations living around SOMDIAA sites in a more efficient manner, and will support projects that have been selected whether in the area of the economy, administration, education or healthcare on the basis of specific and predetermined criteria.
